Sacramental Preparation

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is a program for those aged 13 and older who would like to receive the sacraments of initiation (baptism, first communion, and confirmation). RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) is a program for older children to receive sacramental preparation for baptism and first communion. For more information about participating in RCIA or RCIC, contact Cindy Novak in the parish office or at cnovak@churchofsttimothy.com. If you feel called to accompany someone discerning joining the Catholic faith as a RCIA sponsor, contact Cindy.

All RCIA gatherings are held in room 12 of the parish center (to the left after walking through the main entrance) from 7 until 8:30 p.m.

• Wednesday, October 26 - Sacramental theology, incarnation, and introduction to the sacraments
• Wednesday, November 16 - Mary, Saints, who shepherds the Church
• Wednesday, December 7 - Your prayer life, Catholic prayers and practices, the Bible
• Wednesday, January 18 - The Mass/Sacrament of the Eucharist
• Wednesday, February 15 - The People of God, the early Church, Church history (Vatican II)
• Wednesday, March 1 - Reconciliation, living Lent, the Way of the Cross
• Wednesday, March 15 - the Creed, baptism, and confirmation
• Wednesday, March 29 - the Lord's Prayer, Catholic Social Teaching
