OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) which was formerly known as RCIA is a program for those aged 13 and older who would like to receive the sacraments of initiation (baptism, first communion, and confirmation). Learn more about the OCIA on the Becoming Catholic page of our website. OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation for Children) is a program for older children to receive sacramental preparation for baptism and first communion.
For more information about participating in OCIA or OCIC, contact Cindy Novak in the parish office or at cnovak@churchofsttimothy.com. If you feel called to accompany someone discerning joining the Catholic faith as an OCIA sponsor, contact Cindy.

2025-2026 Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (Ocia) Schedule
All OCIA session will be held in room 102 in parish center (downstairs, go right, past the nursery), 6:30- 8 p.m. All sessions meet on Wednesdays; rites and rituals are during weekend Masses. You are strongly encouraged to participate, as your schedule permits, in the additional opportunities listed below.
