Grace, mercy, and peace to you!
1 Timothy 1:2
The Church of St. Timothy values the entire family in our faith formation process and seeks ways to involve the family as a unit in our programming. Research shows that:
Parents, grandparents, children, and youth can all participate together in this interactive Bible study format. There will be two FBS sessions each month on Saturday mornings that will meet in the parish center from 10-11:30 a.m. Attend as often as you are able. Sessions will include lively presentations, games, activities, discussion, prayer, and snacks.
Click here to sign up to partcipate in Family Bible Study - registering does not mean you are committed to attending every session. Come as your schedule allows.
FBS is held from October through April; see the 2023/2024 schedule below. For more information contact Cindy Novak, Director of Parish Faith Formation, at cnovak@churchofsttimothy.com.
Bring the whole family for this opportunity to "get away from it all!" You will enjoy a tranquil, beautiful environment while having some time for reflection and prayer. Children and youth will have some separate programming that will better meet their interests while adults meet together (infants and older youth are welcome to stay with the adult group). All will enjoy some fun activities together and make some wonderful memories. Watch this webpage or our parish communications channels (weekly email newsletter, bulletin, and Facebook) for information about date and time, along with registration details.
Join other families a couple of times each year to put our faith into action. Opportunities may include packing meals at Feed My Starving Children, cleaning up a park on or near Earth Day, stenciling storm sewers to remind people not to pollute our water, or serving a meal through a local program or shelter. Whatever it is, help your family live your faith and understand the importance of being Jesus in the world. Watch this webpage and parish communications channels for specific opportunities and registration information.
At Home With Jesus is an interactive program for families with children in grades 1 through 5. The large groups sessions are held on Sunday evenings, beginning at 5:00. There are seven large group sessions held on the first Sunday of each month, October through April. These large group sessions are a mandatory part of the program.
If the At Home with Jesus program does not work for your family, we invite you to consider our Tuesday evening elementary classes.
