Grace, mercy, and peace to you!
1 Timothy 1:2
Faith formation doesn't end when we are confirmed. As adults we continue to learn and grow in our faith by participating not only in the Mass, but also in various groups and events.
Is your New Year’s resolution to read Scripture more and grow in faith? Do you long for a community of other young believers to talk openly about spirituality? Are you curious about what God has in store for you this year? The St. Tim’s young adult faith sharing group may be a great place to start!
Young adults aged 18 (post high school) to 40ish are invited to join for a Thursday evening Zoom Scripture reflection, faith sharing, and prayer. The St. Tim’s young adult faith sharing group will meet on the following Thursdays from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.: January 7, 14, 21, 28. Join when you can, miss when you need.
Before each session participants will be emailed a passage that will be that evening’s focus. St. Tim’s director of faith formation Kristen Neuman will lead prayer, offer insights on the passage, and facilitate group discussion on reflection questions.
All are welcome: whether you are married or single, in college or the workforce, feeling solid in your faith or currently in a time of spiritual struggle, knowledgeable of or new to Scripture, St. Tim’s parishioner or not, you have a place in our young adult faith sharing group.
Topic outline:
Session 1- Where have you been, where are you at, and where are you going?
Session 2- Faith shattered or faith strengthened?
Session 3- Recognizing God’s love and God’s many blessings.
Session 4- Where do you find your strength?

Fall 2020 update
St Timothy’s Monday night adult Bible study is not currently meeting due to Covid-19 adaptations. Please check this page for updates as the public health situation evolves. We look forward to gathering again to build community and grow in faith at Monday night Bible study once it is safe to do so.
The study group uses materials from Agape Bible Study and engages with the writings of early Church fathers and current theologians along with Biblical texts. This study looks at many of the challenges that were faced by the early Christians living in Jerusalem - the same problems we experience in living our faith in a modern society. The group is open to all and always welcomes newcomers. Please contact Deacon Joe at 763.784.1329 or 612.709.6774 or jfrederick@churchofsttimothy.com for more information.
