Since its' inception in 1943 the Church of St. Timothy has been a home for working families. Fr. Timothy O'Connell, the founding pastor, led the community of 300 families, in a basement Church on 84th and Center Drive. They had 16 lots that were divided by highways.

Father Wiers came next, and found that the property was not suitable for expansion and purchased a beautifully wooded 80 acre farm in 1954. The original farm house sits on the corner of 89th and Jackson still today. After adding an addition to the farm house, the pastor moved in and this was the first parish house.

He promptly began building a new Church/School which was dedicated in 1956. Initially the Church was in the basement of the school and the upstairs was used for classrooms.
|
| This was added onto with a gym and 6 more classrooms in 1959. |

As growth continued a worship space was built in 1965. |
| Since that time we have had updates to the buildings to accomodate our current population of 2700 families. The Church of St. Timothy continues to serve a diverse population of people. |
