Baptismal Ministers
Individuals or couples serve as host couples and assist the presider during the Rite of Baptism (both during and after Mass). Training will be provided. Contact: Parish Office
Funeral Luncheons
The council of Catholic Women sponors funeral luncheons. Volunteers from the parish supply the food and also help prepare and serve the food for the luncheon. This is a special gift for the family and friends of the deceased. Contact: Diane Wiener
Church Launderers
Volunteers take Church laundry (purificators, baptism towels, albs, etc.) to their homes to wash and iron. Minor church cleaning (dusting, removing outdated materials from bulletin boards, etc.) as needed. Contact: Bill Steffl
Church Cleaners
Help is needed to keep our worship space sparkling. Wednesdays at 8:00 AM, volunteers gather to clean the church with the assistance of our janitorial staff. If you are available on Wednesday mornings, maybe you could this could be your ministry at St. Timothy's. Contact: Bill Steffl
Kitchen Assistants
Both men and women are needed to help prepare and serve food, as well as help with cleanup for special events during the year. Contact: Diane Wiener
Meals on Wheels
Volunteers deliver meals on weekdays between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Both men and women are needed to drive. The committment is only 3 or 4 times a year. Contact: Maggie Philbrook Laine
CEAP Food Shelf
Volunteers sort and packe the food collected at the Sunday liturgies on the first full weekend of the month after the 9:00 and 11:00 AM Masses (8:30 and 10:30 AM in the Summer) Contact: Maggie Philbrook Laine
Soup Line
St. Timothy's prepares and serves soup to the homeless at Sharing and Caring Hands and Catholic Charities. Our parish serves the third Thursday of each month. The making o the soup and sandwiches takes place on the third Wednesday at St. Timothy's. this is an opportunity to reach out beyond St. Timothy's to help others. Contact: Maggie Philbrook Laine
Thanksgiving/Christmas Baskets
An important outreach is the distribution of Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets to families in need in our community. Many volunteers are needed to make this happen. Bulletin announcements in November and December will indicate times volunteers are needed. Contact: Margaret Kelly
Cornerstone
Our Church paper is published 3 times a year. It is designed to inform and educate. We are always looking for writers, reporters, and people to help with editing and layout. Contact: Fr. Chuck Brambilla
Parish Mailings
Volunteers are needed occasionally to stuff envelopes on weekdays. Contact: Mary Mueller
Web Group
This group of people offer their skills in the entering of information, design and organization of St. Timothy's Website. After training much of this work can be done at home if you have DSL or Cable and have a PC. Contact: Shawn Phillips

Welcoming New Parishioners
Parishioners extend a friendly welcome to new members by visiting with them, giving them information about St. Tim's parish and helping them complete the registration form after Mass on a monthly basis. This ministry lets new members know that we are a community and that we value their presence.Contact: Diane Vonderharr

Premarriage Ministry
Married couples enrich and share their own married life by assisting engaged couples to prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage through Prepare Ministry or our Pre-marriage Retreat Team.
Prepare Ministry
Volunteer couples give premarriage inventory feedback on a couple-to-couple basis in the informal atmosphere of their home. Ministering couples determine how many couples they will work with. Contact: Deacon Don Hamilton
Premarriage Retreat Team
A parish-level weekend retreat (Friday evening and all day Saturday) is provided by volunteer couples in February. One couple provides hospitality and three couples give presentations. Training and ongoing consultation with the Marriage Ministry Coordinator is provided. Contact: Deacon Don Hamilton
Volunteer Teachers
This includes teachers, aides, office help and nursery helpers involved in providing religious education for preschool, elementary, and middle school students. Teachers and aides relate directly with students in a faith sharing environment. Others provide support by working in the Religious Education Office during the class time or overseeing the Nursery for children of teachers and aides. Volunteers are parents of students, other adults, and senior high or college-aged students who enjoy working with young people. Special Needs Volunteers
Adult or Teen volunteers are needed to assist children in the classroom who may have certain special needs. The commitment for this would be the entire session inwhich the child is registered. You would not be responsible for any lessons, only assisting the child with the catechist's instructions. Contact: Robbie Raaen
Christian Initiation Sponsors
Sponsors provide welcoming and friendship, introduce the inquirer to others in the parish, share thei own Catholic faith, and accompany the inquirers at the special rites. A benefit of sponsorship is renewed faith formation and updating. We encourage all St. Timothy parishioners to consider this ministry at least once. You'll be glad you did! Contact: Diane Vonderharr
Christian Initiation Teachers
Children(7-14), who have not been baptized or had previous faith formation, need willing Catholics to help them learn and be formed in the faith. If you could teach all or some of the sessions, please let us know. Lesson plans and materials provided.Contact: Diane Vonderharr
Retreat Facilitaters
We are looking for those with a "heart" for youth to facilitate small group discussions for a day or overnight weekend retreat for older youth. Must be a confirmed Catholic. Contact: Johanna Scanlan
Confirmation Small Group Leader
You will facilitate a small group of approximately eight. The groups meet usually twice a month in the homes of the leaders or students. You must be at least 21, a confirmed practising Catholic and have a "heart" for youth. This is a two-year commitment. Contact: Margaret Kelly
Guardian Angels
Confirmed adults and teens commit to anonymously supporting, in daily prayer, a student in the final year of thei Confirmation process. An occasional note of encouragement is sent to the student via the Parish Office. Contact: Margaret Kelly
Open Gym
Volunteers are needed to chaperone Open Gym on Wednesday evenings between the Middle School Faith Formation Classes. Time 6:45-745 Contact: Margaret Kelly
Nursery
Volunteers are needed to do child care in the nursery on Sunday mornings during 9:00 AM Mass, as well as weekday evenings during the year. If you enjoy being with children, check out this opportunity. Contact: Robbie Raaen
