This organization is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, through service to our community (here and abroad).
Purpose of this Group:
a) To provide a social outlet and prayer support group for one another. To be of service to our parish/community by working for spiritual growth with prayer, support and goodwill.
b) To plan projects meant to raise funds to maintain our Council, fund its projects and assist the parish with special requests when possible.
Any woman, 18 or older, of St. Timothy's is eligible to become a Council member by coming to meetings an paying annual dues of $3 per year (September 1 - August 31). When a member reaches age 62 or has 20 consecutive years of membership with this group, she will be recognized as a lifetime member with all rights and privileges of the group but no further dues are required. Only dues paid and lifetime members may vote.
Funeral Luncheons: A major activity for this group is to provide a luncheon after funeral services. Specific chair women call volunteers that have signed up to make the food and also schedule workers who can donate their time setting up, serving and clean up on the day of the funeral.
